Looks like we won’t have to wait long to see if can release an album that lives up to its landmark first releases “Is This It” or “Room On Fire.” that the band will release its fifth studio album sometime this year.

This report comes after the radio station,  from Seattle, announced on its  that it had the new Strokes single, “All the Time,” and would be leaking it soon.

After the band’s debut album, “Is This It,” in 2001 it was hailed as writing some of the “best pop songs ever” and continued this success with its second release. Most critics felt the band fell short on 2006’s “First Impressions of Earth” and the band took an extensive break. In 2011 the Strokes returned with Angles, an album that once again didn’t live up to expectations.
