is re-releasing and expanding his 2013 album “The Next Day” into a three-disc collectors album, including new songs, videos and remixes of the previously premiered tracks.
The album will include a track with former LCD Soundsystem frontman, , who provides 10-minute remix of “Love is Lost.” Murphy’s contribution to Bowie’s upcoming re-release completes a 60 degrees of separation between the two and . Murphy and Bowie both added talents to the Canadian rock act’s upcoming album “Reflektor.”
The new edition of the album, appropriately titled “The Next Day Extra,” will include the original 14-track album, a second disk with five previously unreleased songs and a four-tune DVD of videos for tracks on the album.
“The Next Day Extra” is due out on Nov. 5, and will also be available in a seven-song digital EP on iTunes.
