Now on sale

Now that Miley Cyrus has announced dates for her latest road show, it’s easy to see the past few months of stunts and faux controversies for what they’ve always been: sales tools for her new album, “Bangerz,” and its attendant 38-date North American tour. Fun? Sure. Calculated? Absolutely. Tickets for her March 4 stop at the Pepsi Center are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 16. ($39.50-$89.50, TicketHorse)

Paul Simon and Sting would seem to have little in common musically, but the folk-revival legend and modern rocker/balladeer are two of the most bankable pop music stars of the Past three decades. The pair will perform as part of their “On Stage Together” concert at the Pepsi Center on Feb. 11. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 18. ($40-$250, TicketHorse)

Sorry, Yeezus fans: After indefinitely postponing a Nov. 3 Pepsi Center concert due to damaged stage equipment, Kanye West has now officially canceled his Denver appearance altogether because of “routing logistics,” according to promoter AEG Live. Refunds are available at the point of purchase, likely online at .

STS9 is — shockingly — not slated for a New Year’s Eve run along the Front Range, but the electro-jam act hasn’t forgotten about its Colorado fans. The band will return for a Jan. 31-Feb. 1 run at the Fillmore Auditorium, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 9. ($32.50 single show or $59.50 two-day passes; )

Cat Power, a.k.a. the mercurial indie singer-songwriter Chan Marshall, must have enjoyed her last show in the Mile High City since she announced that she’s coming back soon (very soon) to headline the Gothic Theatre, with opener Nico Turner. Tickets for the Nov. 23 set went on sale this week. ($25.75, )

Comedian Jim Gaffigan’s schlubby, everyman style belies a sharply observational mind, as evidenced by the man’s rabid fan base. Gaffigan returns with a March 14 show at the Buell Theatre. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 8. ($39.95-$49.95, Ticketmaster)

Darius Rucker looks to extend his pop-country hot streak with a tour that brings him to Loveland’s Budweiser Events Center on March 9 with Eli Young Band and David Nail. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 15. ($26.50-$49.50, )
