is trying to shed his “soft” image. You know, the type that usually pegs Toronto’s favorite citizen as the kind of gamer to stop at red lights in Grand Theft Auto 5. Just in before the buzzer of 2013 strikes midnight tomorrow, fans have been treated with two new Drake songs.

The first new track is a freestyle over “We Made it,” with Drake discussing the merits of being famous over samples from “Eastbound and Down’s” Kenny Powers. An affirmation of a successful 2013 for one of Young Money’s best.

The Hit-Boy-produced “Trophies” starts off with triumphant horns before an angry Drake makes his entrance. In Young Money fashion, Drake says near the end, “they don’t have no award for that,” because Mr. Graham always does the right thing.
