It was only a matter of time until someone noticed the 32-piece percussion/electronic marching band, . Today the band announced that it has signed with San Francisco-based indie label .

The label will release the act’s new album, “Burn the Navigator,” in September ahead of a full tour.

“They wage an ongoing war on predictable mediocrity with their guerrilla-style performances which feature an artfully hazardous Chinese lion, sensuous dancing twin apparitions, fog, strobes, sequins, sweat and fury,” Alternative Tentacles wrote.

Alternative Tentacles, which owned by former Boulderite Jello Biafra, has also signed Colorado acts Slim Cessna, Munly and Git Some.

In July of 2013, the band performed with David Byrne & St. Vincent to close their Denver Botanic Gardens show. You can watch that video below.
