Seeing as the band hasn’t released an album in 10 years, it has been a long time since has played in Colorado. But as the cult favorite dance-punk act readies its first album since 2004, it will embark on a tour that includes a stop at Boulder’s .
The short-lived and recently reunited Toronto duo released its only album, “You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine,” in 2004. Having reformed in 2011, the band announced earlier this year that it will release its second album, “The Physical World,” in September.
The 23-date Death From Above 1979 tour kicks off at Riot Fest Toronto and hits a number of festivals — Fun Fun Fun and Voodoo — before stopping in Boulder on Nov. 22.

Tickets go on sale on July 11 and cost $30-$32.50.
