We might not see Colorado Gov. hit the any time soon. Why? Well, because ‘s might have sucked any musical ambition out of poor Hick in this campaign video of the two practicing “Counting Stars.”
“That’s technically not a note,” Tedder says while the two sit around with acoustic guitars. “What you just sang actually doesn’t exist.”
You have to give Tedder credit for being tough — that’s the only way you can be in the music biz. And Hickenlooper deserves some kudos, too, for taking a beating with dignity.
“You do not have a future in music,” Tedder says. “You are very good at liking music and listening to it, you are not very good at playing it or anything to do with it.”
Ouch…
By the way, we totally get that this is a campaign video, but we couldn’t resist sharing more examples of Hickenlooper’s love of music. And hey, if Bob Beauprez decides to film a video of him spitting a few party raps with 3OH!3, we’d share that, too. Please, Beauprez?
