Billy Joel’s musical career has long been blessed with sales and critical awards, but fans keep coming back to the Piano Man’s work for the same reason Joel keeps touring: to sing along (usually at top volume) with his lengthy list of hits. Joel returns to the Pepsi Center on Sept. 16, and tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 6. ($53.50-$128.50, )

If Darius Rucker’s solo career as a pop-country artist keeps going as well as it has, most of us will likely forget a little band he used to lead that began with “Hootie” and ended with “the Blowfish.” Tickets for Rucker’s July 17 “Southern Style” tour stop at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, with openers Brett Eldredge, the Brothers Osborne and A Thousand Horses, are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 6. Comedian Tig Notaro has rescheduled her Paramount date after a medical emergency jettisoned the last one. Previously held tickets for her November date will be honored at the May 29 show, and new tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Feb 6. ($25, )
