What’s not to like about a party where you arrive with a suitcase at an airplane hangar and high hopes you’ll win the raffle and jet off that night for a weekend in Sonoma, Calif.? That was the premise of the SaddleUp! Foundation’s Pack Your Bags event at AeroColorado, which drew 475 people to AeroColorado at Centennial Airport on a late summer evening. The fundraiser was started five years ago by SaddleUp! founder Shery McDonald-Galbreath and her husband, Jim Galbreath. This time out, they grossed more than $300,000 for their equine therapy program. Those who left the party in a Tempus Jet were Kelly Gaige, Justin Joseph, Ashley and Kyle Ewing, Neil and Mandi Tallerday, Kyle Ewing, and Karina Delaney and Josh Benker.
