The Colorado Department of Transportation will hold its annual remembrance day ceremony Thursday to honor the 59 employees who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Family and coworkers will unveil a memorial , who died in May 2015 at the age of 61 in multivehicle accident at the base of Monarch Pass. He was a member of the maintenance crew that services the pass.

The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m Thursday at CDOT headquarters, 4201 E. Arkansas Ave. in Denver.
