The woman who was on Tuesday afternoon was cited by police, according to the transportation district.
Scott Reed, a spokesman for the Regional Transportation District, said Wednesday the bus driver will not be reprimanded since investigators placed blame for the incident on the woman.
Reed said the woman’s injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The collision happened about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Broadway.
The crash closed 14th Avenue for about an hour as police investigated.
