Forecasters are calling for sunny skies and mild temperatures in Denver on Tuesday as this week’s respite from cold, wet weather continues.
The National Weather Service in Boulder is calling for a high near 66 degrees in the city with light winds.
“Warmer temperatures, lower humidity and ample sunshine can be expected today with a large high pressure ridge building from the west,” the weather service said in a forecast bulletin.
Wednesday’s high in Denver is expected to be in the low 70s. Temperatures could hit 80 on Thursday, forecasters say.
Precipitation and cooler weather is expected to move back into the region by Friday and through the weekend with thunderstorms possible.
