
Westminster police on Sunday arrested a 30-year-old man suspected of shooting a man in the head as he sat in a vehicle in the parking lot of a KFC restaurant Saturday night.
Thomas Flynn, 30, turned himself in at the Westminster Police Department at about 12:35 p.m. after police identified him as a suspect in the shooting, which left the victim with serious injuries.
He faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder for the unidentified victim at the KFC at 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard at about 6:50 p.m.
The victim, whose identity police haven’t released, was taken to a hospital. Police haven’t updated his condition.
Flynn’s criminal record includes arrests for assault, reckless endangerment and trespassing, according to Colorado Bureau of Investigation records.
