There will be plenty of sunshine much of this week in Colorado, according to the National Weather Service.
The high temperature for Sunday is expected to be 65 degrees in the metro area, climb to 75 degrees on Tuesday, and be in the low 80s until Thursday. “There is a potential for rain later in the week, Thursday and Friday, said Natalie Gusack, NWS meteorologist.
There is a slight chance of thunder storms in the western part of the state on Wednesday, Gusack said on Sunday.
The San Juans, and other mountainous areas, including Breckenridge, and Steamboat Springs had snow on Friday and Saturday. But warm weather throughout the state is expected to keep more snow at bay, Gusack said.
