A semi-truck trailer burst into flames on Interstate 70 Friday afternoon.

The incident happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway as the truck descended Mount Vernon Canyon, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

There were no reports of injuries.

All lanes of the highway reopened at about 5 p.m. after firefighters put out the blaze and highway workers cleared debris.
