The woman who was at a Longmont apartment complex has been identified by Green Mountain High School as Makayla Grote, a 2016 graduate of the Lakewood high school.
In a on Sunday, the school confirmed Grote was the victim.

Longmont police responded to The Shores at McIntosh Lake at 6:12 p.m. Saturday after suffering from stab wounds to her chest. She was taken to Longmont United Hospital, where she later died.
Police arrested a 15-year-old Lakewood boy seven hours later on suspicion of first-degree murder. While he has not been identified, Green Mountain High confirmed he was “recently” a student at the school.
