A man was shot dead in northeast Denver on Wednesday night and officers flooded the area just off of Colfax Avenue.
The shooting happened in the area of East 13th Avenue and Yosemite Street in the city’s East Colfax neighborhood, according to police.

The victim, a man, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Further details on the injuries, or on a suspect, were not immediately released.
An investigation is ongoing.
