A man shot near the intersection of Titan Court and Titan Way in the Montbello neighborhood Sunday afternoon has died, Denver police say. The department is now looking for the person or persons responsible.
Officers were called out on reports of a shooting at about 1:43 p.m. The shooting scene is near Silverman Park, a few blocks from Montbello High School.
The victim, a man who has not been identified, was transported to a hospital. At 6:03 p.m., Denver police confirmed in an update posted to Twitter that he has died.
The case is being investigated as a homicide. There is no information available about a possible suspect or suspects at this time, according to DPD.
