

The Broncos have Mike Munchak’s daughter to thank for influencing her dad’s decision to move to Denver.
The Broncos’ new offensive line coach told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Tuesday that “” in his decision to leave Pittsburgh and join Denver’s coaching staff. Munchak’s daughter Alex and her husband live in the Mile High City, and last March she gave birth to a daughter, Emilia.
“When this opportunity came up to work in a city with my daughter, her husband, my granddaughter and my other daughter not far away in L.A., that’s what we wanted,” Munchak said in the interview.
He added: “This was all about family from the beginning. If my daughter lived here, I wouldn’t have taken any head coaching interviews.”
