Police are looking for a man accused of a shooting and pistol whipping at a motel room in Pueblo where a party was underway.
The incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. Sunday at Motel 6, 4103 N. Elizabeth St., according to police.
Officers responding to the shooting found an 18-year-old victim bleeding from the head and face. The teen told officers he had been pistol whipped. A second 18-year-old victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg.
Daniel Howard, 20, has been identified as a suspect in the case, police said. He allegedly fled the scene on foot. Howard is also accused of stealing one victim’s wallet.

Howard remained at large Monday and an arrest warrant has been issued. Howard is suspected of aggravated robbery, second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and illegal discharge of a firearm, police said.
Both victims are expected to fully recovery, according to a news release.
