Denver weather: Another chance of snow coming to metro area Wednesday

Temperatures rising to the high 60s by Sunday

The next round of winter snow could be as soon as Wednesday morning in the Denver metro area, according to meteorologists.

Before the snow, it will be sunny in Denver on Tuesday with a high temperature of about 47 degrees, said the National Weather Service in Boulder.

Light snow is expected in the mountains Tuesday night, the weather service said.

On Wednesday morning, there is a 20% chance of snow showers after 11 a.m. in Denver, the NWS said. Snow showers are possible before 11 p.m. Wednesday night in the city, forecasters said. The high temperature will be around 42 degrees.

Mostly sunny skies are expected Thursday, when a warming trend begins in the Mile High City. The high temperature is expected to reach 44 degrees.

Temperatures should rise to about 52 degrees on Friday, 62 on Saturday and 69 by Sunday, the NWS said.

It could rain and snow by Monday, when the high temperature will be about 49 degrees.
