A man was shot on Thursday night in the River North Art District of Denver and police were looking for the gunman.

The shooting happened at Brighton Boulevard and 38th Street, police said just before 7 p.m. on Twitter.
Officers were looking for a man who fled the shooting scene on foot. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Details on his medical condition were not released.
