After two days of snow and cold kept many inside, Denverites on Saturday can expect sunshine and warmth.
High temperatures in Denver should reach 47 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Areas of dense morning fog on the plains will give way to sun, and then a chance of scattered afternoon rain and snow showers.
The high country may see up to 3 inches of snow, while the plains should see little to no accumulation, forecasters said.
Warmer today with areas of morning fog northeastern plains. Scattered afternoon & evening rain & snow showers north central & northeast Colorado, with 1-3" accumulation in the high country. Most plains locations will see no snow. However, a few spots could see 1-2"
