Aurora police tweeted Saturday morning that they were “no longer looking” for a man in connection with a sexual assault on a child.

Police thanked the public for their help, but didn’t specify if they had arrested the man.

They were searching for a white Lincoln Navigator, which the man allegedly used to pick up a child from the area of East Colfax Avenue and Kingston Street on Dec. 1. The man then allegedly sexually assaulted the child.

Aurora police said they wouldn’t release any more information about the case, due to the sensitivity of the situation.
