According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, the only part of the forecast to keep an eye on for Tuesday is the wind. While there are no warnings, meteorologists say areas in the mountains and foothills could get wind speeds of 65 mph. The spillover onto the plains should be about 40 mph gusts and 25 mph downtown. The wind does bring elevated fire danger, especially on what will be a decently warm day of 54 degrees. The low will dip to 26 degrees.
Wednesday will be calmer as partly sunny skies come with a temperature of 52 degrees. Overnight there’s a 20% chance of snow downtown. Little if any accumulation is expected while the hills may get up to two inches of powder.
Thursday could be a bit breezy again, but highs will push into the mid-50s under the sun.
There’s a chance for precipitation again on Friday, but the daytime temperatures should be mild.
