Denver will have a few clear, dry days in a row, leading to raised fire conditions.
It will be mostly clear, dry and warm today. Temperatures will be back up to near normal, or a few degrees warmer. It will be a little breezy on the plains today and there will be elevated fire weather conditions through this afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder, Denver will reach 67 degrees under sunny skies on Friday. Winds could gust to 15 mph. The low temperature will fall to 41 degrees. The warm and dry conditions make for near-critical humidity across the plains, leading to elevated fire weather conditions.
Forecasters say Denver will almost reach the record high of 81 degrees set in 1977 on Saturday. The high is predicted to be 79 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Winds could gust to 22 mph. There’s a 20% chance of rain in the evening, as the low falls to 38. A fire watch has already been issued from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. for much of the region due to the expected warm and dry conditions.
On Sunday, it will be sunny but cooler, with a high of 59 degrees. Winds could gust to 23 mph.
Forecasters are already eyeing a storm next week.
“A potentially significant storm will impact our forecast area Tuesday and Wednesday,” NWS wrote in its daily weather forecast. “If the worst-case scenario were to happen with this storm, blizzard conditions with heavy snowfall and damaging winds could occur. There remains a chance that this system will miss our forecast area to the north with much lower impacts occurring. It is advised to monitor forecast updates on this system.”
