A boy was injured last night after being hit by a car near the 12700 block of Bellaire Street in Thornton.
Police responded to a call reporting gunshots around 9 p.m. Monday and found the injured juvenile, who had been struck by a car and was transported to the hospital, a spokesman for the Thornton Police Department said.
The investigation is ongoing and there is currently no suspect in custody. The current condition of the boy is unknown.
