Park Burger, a longtime local mini-chain serving burgers, fries, shakes and beer, will close its location at 2643 W. 32nd Ave., in Denver’s West Highland neighborhood, later this month.

The closure, which will happen on July 28, “marks the end of more than 15 years” at that address, according to the Gastamo Group, a Denver restaurant company that owns Park Burger. Its lease came to an end.

Two other Park Burger locations, the original in Platt Park and one in Hilltop, remain open and operating.

“Being part of the Highlands community has been a genuine honor,” said Gastamo Group founder and owner Philippe Failyau in a statement. “We’re deeply grateful to our team, our loyal guests, and the neighbors who made this location so special. This wasn’t an easy decision, and we don’t take their support lightly.”

In addition to Park Burger, the Gastamo Group operates 13 other metro-area restaurants, including Homegrown Tap & Dough, Perdida, Lady Nomada, and Park & Co.
