Tattoo you

Sky High Tattoo Jamboree

10 a.m.-7 p.m., Holiday Inn at DIA, 15500 E. 40th Ave.

$15 at the door

What makes a beautiful tattoo? Find out at noon today, when the Midwest Tattoo Tour begins judging body art in categories including mythical, wildlife, American Indian, Asian, floral and portrait. We’re not saying it will give you any clarity about the TLC show “Miami Ink,” but it might give you a better appreciation of the ancient art form. The show – and organizers warn that not all of it is suitable for kids – includes booths where award-winning tattoo artists will be conducting business.
