Boulder police have arrested one man in Denver and believe a second suspect fled to Kansas after fatally shooting a Boulder businessman in order to steal his 2003 Porsche, police say.

Alfred “Alfredo” Gusman III, was arrested this afternoon for investigation of two counts of first degree murder and one count of robbery.

Police believe an alleged accomplice, whose first name is Chris, left the state this morning and was headed for Overland Park, Kansas, said Julie Brooks, Boulder police spokeswoman.

Authorities believe he is travelling with Kimberly Johnson in her 2005 Silver Kia with Colorado license plate 387NOP, Brooks said.

Octavio Sergio Libman, 43, was shot outside Sergio s Roofing, on the 3200 block of Carbon Place at about 9 p.m. Monday, according to witnesses and Boulder authorities.

Libman, of Santiago, Chile, died of a gunshot wound to the chest, Boulder County Coroner Thomas Faure said today.

Libman had advertised his gray 2003 Porsche on the internet, said Julie Brooks, Boulder police spokeswoman.

The suspect known only as Chris was described as being in his 20s, about 5-foot-8 with dark brown hair. He had a tattoo on the back of his neck, which appeared to be green and orange and may say Irish. He was wearing a cream-colored crew neck sweatshirt, blue jeans, and Hugo Brown shoes.

The suspects fled in the Porsche, which was found several hours later at the Holiday Inn Express, 4777 Broadway.
