Besides carrying library books, the bags accommodate groceries, etc., and reduce plastic bag waste. Save a little gas money by logging onto the library’s website to download e-books, find magazine and news articles, plus free movies and TV shows, all available with an Aurora Public Library card. All Aboard!
Photographs and paintings of trains star in this exhibit on southwest Colorado’s rail history. The centerpiece features the Shirley and Patrick Donachy collection of historic train photos — the Denver and Rio Grande, the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe, the Colorado and Southern, and the Colorado and Wyoming lines. Local artist John Graber made some of the luminous paintings in the show.
