DENVER—The Rev. Jesse Jackson didn’t wait for Denver reporters to ask about the disparaging remarks he made about Barack Obama this week to apologize again for his comments.

Jackson said Saturday during his visit at a library to speak to black community leaders that Obama has run a “magnificent campaign” and that he was he was embarrassed for his comments during a break from a Fox News program.

Jackson has spent most of the week apologizing after he used a slang reference to wanting to cut off Obama’s testicles after Jackson said the Democratic presidential candidate can come off as speaking down to black people. Jackson made the remarks during a break from the taping of “Fox & Friends” on Sunday. Jackson has said he didn’t know his microphone was still on.
