Connect the dots. Dots equal savings at the “Springtime Polka Dot Sale” beginning today and running through April 3 at the Second Chance Shoppe (303-788-6470), which offers “boutique quality, brand name resale fashions.” The resale shop is located across from Swedish Medical Center at Old Hampden Avenue and South Pennsylvania Street. All proceeds support the nonprofit Swedish Medical Center Auxiliary.

Loans available for saving energy
Boulder County is accepting loan applications from homeowners who want to make their properties more energy-efficient. Applications for the $28 million available will be accepted Wednesday through April 10. Applicants must attend a workshop to get a project bid/estimate. Two of these workshops are left: one today from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Boulder Main Library, 1000 Canyon Blvd; and one Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lafayette Public Library, 775 W.
