A woman wanted in a check-cashing fraud case out of Lone Tree remains at large, several years after the crimes.
Christine Russo, 37, was among seven people charged in December 2007. Thousands of dollars in bogus checks were cashed at grocery stores and warehouse membership clubs in Colorado, as well as businesses in Nevada, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas, Lone Tree police said.
Russo fled prosecution and remains at large. A warrant for her arrest is active, a Lone Tree spokeswoman said.
