Looks like Denver is going to be celebrity central in the coming months, and several nonprofits will be the better for it.

First in is Dick Vermeil, former head coach for the St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, who speaks at the Warren Village All-Star Breakfast on April 28. He’s followed by Mike Ditka, best known for 11 seasons spent coaching the Chicago Bears; Ditka headlines the May 17 Jewish Family Service Executive Luncheon.

Then, the Zarlengo Foundation teams with Comedy Works South to bring Jay Leno to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House on Sept. 10. Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss comes in Sept. 23 to speak at a luncheon benefiting Arapahoe House and on Nov. 3, tennis legend Martina Navratilova is the keynote speaker for the annual luncheon hosted by the Women’s Foundation of Colorado.
