Outdoor classroom
If you would like to learn about Colorado’s wildflowers and native landscaping, Colorado State University Extension in Larimer County is accepting applications for its Native Plant Master course. Participants in the 12-hour program learn scientific names and plant families along with plant identification, the use of native plants in sustainable landscapes and the impact of noxious weeds. The program has been offered to the public only the past few years and was previously open only to natural-resource agency employees and volunteers.
