The Shops at 9th Avenue and Djuna are celebrating the new year with a “Semi Annual Sale” starting Jan. 6 through Feb. 3. Shoppers to the award-winning 15,000-square-foot designer showroom will find discounts ranging from 20 to 70 percent on select fine furnishings, antiques, bedding, window coverings, original artwork, lighting, accessories and rugs. The city of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department is offering a “New Year’s Fitness Sale” through Jan. 31 at all three Boulder recreation centers. Specials include a “Resolution Pass” where guests pay $149 for three months of unlimited access, a “13 Months for the Price of 12” features one free additional month when renewing or purchasing an annual pass, or the “28 Days for $28” special for new patrons for 28 days of unlimited recreation center access for $28 plus a $28 credit when purchasing a 20-punch, 40-punch or annual pass within 30 days.
