Head to Lakewood for the highly anticipated Navajo Weaving Sale Oct. 4-5. The two-day inventory reduction offers hundreds of weavings in all styles and sizes by Navajo and Hopi artists — sold at cost. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Navajo weaving appraisals are available by appointment. Jewelry will also be available. Proceeds benefit the Navajo Literacy Project. There are just a few days left to place your order for the Audubon Society of Greater Denver’s Fall 2014 Birdseed Sale. High-quality mixes, white proso millet, safflower, black oil sunflower, medium sunflower chips, nyjer, high-energy suet and peanuts in the shell are available. Special orders are welcome.
