May 1 marks the first date of Historic Denver Walking Tours’ new tour, this one showcasing the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Beginning and ending at the Molly Brown House Museum (1340 Pennsylvania St.), the Capitol Hill Walking Tour is a 1.2-mile walk that features details of the area’s founding, its growth and big-name residents. This is the second walking tour presented by Historic Denver, The LoDo Walking Tour (beginning and ending at Union Station, 1701 Wynkoop St.), returns this year and also starts May 1. Tours are at 10 a.m. Mondays, 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturdays. Tickets are $15, $12 for members of Historic Denver and the Molly Brown House Museum. 800-979-3370,
