More than 1,000 Denver households are waking up without power Friday morning, according to an Xcel Energy power outage map.
As of just before 7 a.m., there were nearly 650 outages that left 1,723 metro Denver customers impacted and without power, the map said.
Some northern Colorado residents throughout Greeley, Evans and Loveland and Fort Collins were also struggling to get their power back on, adding up to more than 1,500 customers impacted in the region.
