Weather in the Denver area will remain unseasonably warm through Wednesday before dropping to more fall-like temperatures by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunday should stay mild with highs in the mid-60s and lows around 30 degrees tonight. The National Weather Service said the skies should be mostly sunny, with some clouds and a slight breeze in the afternoon. But things should clear up by this evening, which is good news for stargazing trying to .

The National Weather Service expects temperatures at the beginning of the week to remain unseasonably warm by 20 degrees with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the mid-40s.

But rain and cooler temperatures should move in after Wednesday, with predicted highs in the mid-50s and lows in the 30s.

A National Weather Service previously thought the temperature drop at the end of the week would bring snow, but a spokeswoman said it’s less likely now in the Denver area.
