Aside from a few on Colorado’s mountains, today marks the first snow for much of the state.

It started snowing as early as 7 a.m. in parts of Colorado. Temperatures are expected to linger around the mid-30s along the Front Range for much of the day with a low of 29 degrees tonight.

Ski resorts are rejoicing as the inches pile up and help them on the for the season. Meanwhile, Colorado residents took to Twitter to show off the snow in their area.
