The NBA draft kicked off Thursday night in fine fashion as the Pelicans selected Zion Williamson with the No. 1 pick in the draft.
With the NBA draft comes the spectacle of young adults making poor decisions when it comes to their custom suits. Many of those drafted will probably look back in 20-plus years and realize they should have gone with a more timeless look. I mean, take a look back at your old school photos and tell me you’re happy with all the fashion choices you made through the years.
And with that, here’s a look at the best and worst fashion statements from the NBA draft.
We have to start with the worst in Nickeil Alexander-Walker who was drafted by the Brooklyn Nets with the No. 17 pick. Alexander-Walker’s choice of attire featured a grey snake skin fabric, the look was rounded out with a western-themed bolo tie. It was just bad.
The best look on the night was classy and timeless as No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson was sporting an all cream colored suit with an almost white look. Williamson went a little casual on his big night with no tie and flashed some bling with his wrist watch. Lets hope the class of 2020 takes some notes from Big Z and throws it back to the classics.
