Woman accused of fatally stabbing her mother in Aurora

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the fatal stabbing of her mother in Aurora, according to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office.

Chanel Marie Bell is accused of killing Esther Kristina Luckett, 54, on July 22 in the 1700 block of North Clinton Street, the DA’s office said in a news release. Luckett was pronounced dead at University Hospital.

Bell is set to appear in court for a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m., Dec. 12 in Adams County District Court.
