Another sunny day in the 40s is in sight for Denver Thursday.

After dropping into the teens overnight Wednesday, Denver will see temperatures rise to a high of 41 degrees Thursday as a slight warming trend continues. The temperature Thursday is still below normal for this time of year.

The day will be partly sunny, with slight winds of six mph possible.

Wind gusts in the higher foothills could reach 50 mph Thursday as well.

Temperatures Thursday night will drop down to 20 degrees, then Friday will see more temperatures warmer than the day before.

Some light snow could be on the horizon in the mountains Friday, but any snow will likely stay in the mountains and not reach Denver.

The snow could continue through the weekend in the mountains, while the plains look to stay dry through next week.

The weekend is expected to reach temperatures in the mid-40s, then reach near-50-degree highs next week.
