Pedestrian killed Thursday night while crossing street in Denver’s Harvey Park

Victim was outside of crosswalk and disregarded traffic signal before crash, police say

A Denver man was struck and killed Thursday night while crossing Sheridan Boulevard near Evans Avenue in Denver’s Harvey Park neighborhood, according to police.

Denver’s Police Department wrote in that the man was crossing from the west to the east side of Sheridan outside of the crosswalk and against the traffic signal when he was hit by a vehicle.

Officers responded to the crash at about 7:30 p.m., and the man was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified as Kevin Plenty Wolf by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner, which determined Wolf died from multiple blunt-force injuries.

The driver remained at the scene. Police did not immediately confirm whether charges would be filed in the crash.
