One person died and two others were injured in a late-night crash in western Aurora, police said.

Aurora officers responded to the crash near a gas station at S. Havana Street and E. Alameda Avenue just before 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the police department.

An Infiniti sedan headed north on Havana hit the driver’s side of a Ford Escape as it pulled out from a private drive onto Havana, police said.

Paramedics took both drivers to the hospital, but a passenger in the Ford Escape died at the scene of the crash, according to the news release.

The man killed in the crash will be identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.

Police said the crash remained under investigation, and no one had been arrested as of Thursday morning. No additional information on the crash was available.
