A driver died in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Commerce City, police said.
The crash happened about 12:10 p.m. at the intersection of East 120th Parkway and Brighton Road, according to a news release.
A light blue Kia Rio was westbound on 120th when it collided with a dark blue Nissan Altima, which was northbound on Brighton, police said. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at a hospital. The driver of the Kia was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
