Castle Rock police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man in connection to a fatal house fire, and the victim in the fire has been identified.

Matthew Buchanan, 32, was last seen driving a white Dodge minivan with a Colorado temporary license plate 3964372.

Elizabeth Bjorlow, 59, of Castle Rock, was identified Wednesday as the person who died at the scene of a fire near Dove Valley Place and Paint Pony Circle. The Douglas County Coroner’s Office identified Bjorlow.

A police investigation into her death is ongoing. The cause and manner of her death will be released at the completion of the investigation, according to a police news release. Another person at the home was taken to a local hospital with injuries. That person is expected to survive.

Anyone with information on Buchanan’s whereabouts, or who sees the minivan, is asked to call police at 303-663-6100.
