One man is dead after a head-on crash on South University Boulevard in Greenwood Village on Saturday night, police said.
According to Greenwood Village police, at 6:30 p.m. a male driving a pickup truck southbound on the 5400 block of University Boulevard crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an SUV. The female driver of the SUV along with a female passenger were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The man in the pickup truck died at the scene of the accident.
South University Boulevard will be closed in both directions between East Orchard Road and East Belleview Avenue. until approximately 10:30 p.m. according to police.

The accident is under investigation, police said, and names of the drivers have not yet been released.
